A terrible disaster happened 35 years ago.
As a result of the explosion of 4-th reactor of the Chernobly NPP, a large amount of radioactive materials was thrown into the environment.
The first to come to the rescue were firefighters from the Pripyat. At the cost of their lives, they managed to prevent the spread of fire to the rest of the NPP reactors.
Afterwords, many militaries took part in eliminating the consequences of this disaster. My father was among them.
